In 1959, the invention of plastisol provided an ink more durable and stretchable than water-based ink, allowing much more variety in T-shirt designs. Very few companies continue to use water-based inks on their shirts. The majority of companies that create shirts prefer plastisol due to the ability to print on varying colors without the need for color adjustment at the art level.
What makes printed t-shirts for men such a core element of the style savvy wardrobe is the array of possibilities it presents for integrating it into your everyday looks. Once limited to only the most casual environments, the right t-shirt can transition effortlessly from the workplace to the weekend and everywhere in between. The time tested jeans and sneakers look is a natural platform to show off a new favorite tee, and chinos and khakis can offer an even more put together look in casual ensembles. However, a graphic tee in a fun color or showing off a distinctive design can be incorporated into more formal looks as well. Layering a vest, blazer or cardigan over an eye catching graphic tee is an easy way to upgrade a laid back look, and with the addition of dark denim can make a simple and striking outfit for date night or happy hour. Try wearing cool graphic t-shirts for men with an accessory accented in a coordinating color to create an even more cohesive effect. Stock up on tees from Old Navy and keep your aesthetic cool, clean and comfortable year round.

In the early 1950s, several companies based in Miami, Florida, started to decorate T-shirts with different resort names and various characters. The first company was Tropix Togs, under founder Sam Kantor, in Miami. They were the original licensee for Walt Disney characters in 1976 including Mickey Mouse and Davy Crockett. Later, other companies expanded into the T-shirt printing business, including Sherry Manufacturing Company, also based in Miami. Sherry, started in 1948 by its owner and founder Quinton Sandler as a screen print scarf business, evolved into one of the largest screen printed resort and licensed apparel companies in the United States.
“Working with a local screen printer like QC Custom Tees is a breeze! Whether it is large order of just a single item, they are very detailed and the turn around time is excellent. I wouldn’t use anyone else!”
The world is has evolved into one big on demand service. What consumers want, when they want, and how they want it is the basis for business models now and moving forward. There are apps for your phone, content for your TV, wireless devices that can connect to everything else and more! Well here at Road Kill we have taken this approach to funny t-shirts. First and foremost we have a wide selection of designs that will get you ready for the day; but aside from that, our shirts can be customized to the exact look and feel of your style. We offer Men’s and Women’s styles, and also a Hoodie option. On top of that each style has different cuts that will go well with any outfit, from simply wearing it as is to layering it as a tank top, you can’t go wrong with us. However, just allowing you to pick the cut of your shirt wasn’t enough…no that would be letting you off too easy! Once you’ve selected your style, then it’s on to size. From youth-small to 6XLarge and everything in between is available for any body type, because we don’t judge like the rest of the world. And then, after that, you are able to add color, the spice of life…or something like that, to your shirt. So how’s that for on demand and individual style?
What do you think of when you think of the word novel? Very good if you said Kurt Vonnegut or Tom Wolfe. But bring the brain down a notch. We’re thinking stuff like weird, unusual, supremely creative and clever (no disrespect Kurt and Tom). Really, all our shirts fit this category, so it’s hard pulling out just a few. But how about the ones that make you use your noggin a little? I mean, it takes more than just average intelligence to get the jokes in our “May the 4th Be with You” or “My Pen Is Huge” or “Grab Your Balls We’re Going Bowling” tees. So go ahead and be novel. Don’t just read one.

One Hour Tees was incredibly helpful when our company card was unfortunately declined on multiple occasions due to merchants code issues. Karima was wonderful in getting the shirts to us in the time desired despite the delays caused by the credit card without increasing the price. I would use One Hour Tees again for any/all custom shirts orders in the future. The products turned out great!!

If you’ve ever seen one of your t-shirts out “in the wild,” than you know it’s an amazing feeling. Spotting them at an airport or at your local coffee shop sparks an excitement that we wish on all of our customers! Unfortunately, there are 5 big mistakes a lot of brands make that will keep them from experiencing that moment.
Since the 1980s, T-shirts have flourished as a form of personal expression. Screen printed T-shirts have been a standard form of marketing for major American consumer products, such as Coca-Cola and Mickey Mouse, since the 1970s. It has also been commonly used to commemorate an event, or to make a political or personal statement. Since the 1990s, it has become common practice for companies of all sizes to produce T-shirts with their corporate logos or messages as part of their overall advertising campaigns. Since the late 1980s and especially the 1990s, T-shirts with prominent designer-name logos have become popular, especially with teenagers and young adults. These garments allow consumers to flaunt their taste for designer brands in an inexpensive way, in addition to being decorative. Examples of designer T-shirt branding include Calvin Klein, FUBU, Ralph Lauren, American Apparel, and The Gap. These examples also include representations of rock bands, among other obscure pop-culture references. Licensed T-shirts are also extremely popular. Movie and TV T-shirts can have images of the actors, logos, and funny quotations from the movie or TV show. Often, the most popular T-shirts are those that characters wore in the film itself (e.g., Bubba Gump from Forrest Gump and Vote For Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite).
Other methods of decoration used on T-shirts include airbrush, applique, embroidery, impressing or embossing, and the ironing on of either flock lettering, heat transfers, or dye-sublimation transfers. Laser printers are capable of printing on plain paper using a special toner containing sublimation dyes which can then be permanently heat-transferred to T-shirts.

Definitely would order another. Im 5’1 and about 120lbs, It’s 100% cotton so it’ll shrink a bit so if recommend getting one size bigger. In juniors I run in mediums but in adults I run in smalls. I’m ok with the shirt, not 100% satisfied but I’m ok with that. I love the shirt and I wear it often.

the t shirt material is super soft, lightweight, and just a nice feel. it fits as expected, if not just a smidge large (purchased intentionally this way as I don’t know how it will fair in the wash). He was a bit concerned about it being grey and that he would be showing sweat stains if he lifted his arms.. i told him to just wear it around the house- that i love him and his pitstains. haha.
